SETH GRAVES

Coach Garrison is in his 1st season as head coach of EMHS. He was assistant coach at Tulsa Union since 2005. He played college baseball at Cedar Valley JC, Kansas Wesleyan University and Sterling College.   

I loved playing for coach Howard.  Most summer teams I have played on have been highly competitive and pretty intense.   We did not have any big name D1 signees like the other teams when I first joined; however, in 2014 we ended up as state runner up and one of the best teams in region. Coach Howard showed me how to win by playing loose and having fun.  A memorable moment, and to prove my point, was when another coach who had several D1 commitments and current college players on his team was overheard saying who the **** are the Athletics and why do they keep winning.  

Roderick Green is a retired world class paralympian who now trains other world class athletes as well as high school athletes. Roderick was also a highly accomplished college basketball player despite only having one leg. I have significantly increased my strength, speed, and quickness over the last two off seasons as a result of his brutal workouts. 

Tom is considered one of the most knowledgeable instructors in the area. For years, he has instructed a 17 week winter "Hit Clinic" that baseball players from all over the state participate in to better their technique and prepare themselves for the spring.  Tom also does private hitting lessons and defensive sessions.  Tom is a perfectionist on all aspects of the swing and teaches why you should do something instead of just telling you need to do something.  I have improved immensely under his instruction.
